Posted by thesanty4@msn.com on January 19, 2010
Troop 16’s annual fundraiser, THE PANCAKE SUPPER, will be held Tuesday, February 16th from 5:00-7:00pm at the Parker United Methodist Church (11805 Pine Drive – off Parker Road, South of Hilltop). This year’s meal of all-you-can-eat mouthwatering pancakes drenched in syrup or fruit topping with hashbrowns, sausage and drinks, is being dedicated to the 100th birthday of the Boy Scouts of America.
The 80+ Scouts of Troop 16 wish to serve you in honor of the literal millions of boys who have come before them in this organization. Tickets are $6.25 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under and are available from any Scout, at the Methodist Church on Sunday mornings Jan 31, February 7 or 14, and can be purchased at the door. To recognize Scoutings finest, any Eagle Scout will receive a $1 discount — just let us know when you buy your ticket.
A display of historical Scouting memorabilia will be on display at the event and current and former Scouts with material they wish to be viewed can bring it that night or call Mark Santy at 720-851-9195 to make arrangements to get it ahead.
For information, please contact Carol Siebring, Chairperson, at 303-841-0523.
