March 2018 – Snow Sports – Skiing and Snowboarding

Description:The March campout will be focused on skiing and snowboarding at the Ski Cooper ski resort. Scouts will have the opportunity to work on their merit badges while enjoying some of Colorado’s finest trails.

Who may attend: All scouts and scouters registered with Troop 16 AND any adult scouter registered with Denver Area Council. A medical form (Parts A, B are required) must be on file with the troop to attend.

Families may also join us: Additionally, we are inviting Scout families (parents and siblings) to join in on the fun day at Ski Cooper on Saturday. You will not officially be “with” the Boy Scouts, but will be able to partake in the Group discounts for lift tickets/lessons and rentals. Please sign up below and indicate that this is for Adult Youth or Child and for Skiing only after your name.

When: March 16 – 18, 2018.

Where: We will be Camping at the Tennessee Pass Trailhead, and spending Saturday at  Ski Cooper.

Who is in Charge: TDB

Cost: Standard campout fee of $20 with an additional
 2018 Rates are: 
Ski Pass: $40 Adult, $24 Youth[6-14], Child: Free
Ski/Board School (2 hour lesson w/rental&pass) 13+ $89  – Youth Lesson (all day w/rental and pass)(5-12) $119
Rentals Ski/Board: Adult (15+) $ 26, Youth (6-14) $ 18, Child $15
All waivers (if needed) and Fees are due BEFORE we depart on Friday.

Sign-up Deadline: March 6th, 2018.
