June High Adventure Backpacking Trek

Description:

The June High Adventure Backpacking Trek will be devoted to backpacking in the Lost Creek Wilderness while working on Backpacking Merit Badge requirements and preparing crews for Philmont. We hope to get some time to play in the monoliths that are prevalent in the area.

When?

Thursday, June 17 – Sunday, June 20, 2010

We will meet at the church at 4:00 pm THURSDAY, and return after noon on Sunday.

 

Where?

A backpacking Trek in the Lost Creek Wilderness west of Wellington Lake.

Mr. Coleman

 

Cost?

Expenses will be split among the participants, including fuel costs, food and camping.

 

Sign-up Deadline?

June 1 at Midnight. No exceptions.

Special Requirements?

Scouts must be at least 13 years old and First Class or higher rank to attend. All scouts and adult scouters planning to attend must have a Class III Med Form on file with the Troop,  signed by their physician.

10 essentials!
