Description:
This is a High Adventure Camp. Participants must be 13 years old and First Class or higher rank. No exceptions!
Embark on the greatest winter camping adventure that will ever challenge you as a Boy Scout. Okpik is a High Adventure Winter Camping program that is run at Camp Tahosa by their staff (our own Jason C. is on staff). Learn how to backcountry camp in cold weather winter conditions. You will spend the first night in a cabin, after receiving training on physical preparation, cold weather dress, first aid and emergency procedures, food and water, and equipment use. For more information and registration forms required by the camp, click here.
