March Shooting Sports at Peaceful Valley

Description:
The March campout will be held at Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch and feature rifle shooting. Saturday morning will be dedicated to the shooting portion of the Rifle Shooting Merit Badge and we’ll use Peaceful Valley’s brand new shooting range. In order to shoot a Scout must have either: 1) completed the classroom portion of the Rifle Shooting merit badge and have a Blue Card as proof, or 2) have earned the Rifle Shooting merit badge. The Rife Shooting merit badge is being offered at the March 5 Merit Badge College.
When?
Friday, March 11 – Sunday, March 13
We will meet at the church at 4:00 pm Friday, and return around noon on Sunday.
Where?
Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch near Elbert, CO.

Cost?
$18 per participant. A small additional charge for ammunition may be applied. More details to come.
Sign-up Deadline?
Sunday March 6th at Midnight. No exceptions.

Special Requirements?
A Class 3 Medical form must be on file with the Troop to attend.
What to Bring?
Base camping gear (see suggested gear file under the Camping tab / Files section), including your 10 essentials! Do not plan on bringing your own rifles, we will only use firearms distributed by Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch.
