Church Work Day

All year long, Parker United Methodist Church provides Troop 16 with a home and asks nothing in return. We are given meeting space whenever we need it, financial support of our Troop through direct donations and the Pancake Supper, and so much more! So, once each year, we give back to the church by putting on a Church Work Day, where we provide hundreds of hours of free labor for whatever projects they need - landscaping, painting, cleaning and other maintenance.

This year, the Church Work Day is on April 24th, 2010, from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. Please be sure to bring work gloves, and if you have them, shovels, brooms, dust pans, and tools (all with your name on them).

All Troop 16 Members are expected to help with the Church Work Day. And parents, we could use your help too!
