Description:
The Troop will be camping at Snow Mountain Ranch in Winter Park. This will be an outdoor camp with a number of activities for the Scouts. Activities will include cross country skiing, snow shoeing, sledding and many other indoor activities in the Kiva. Scouts may also choose to downhill ski with their families. Families are welcome to attend, but must make their own reservations in the lodge and must make their own travel arrangements. Scouts will not be allowed into the lodge to visit family members.
When:
January 15 - 17, 2010. We will meet at the Church at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th and return at about 12:00 p.m. on the 17th.
Where:
Snow Mountain Ranch, Winter Park. We will be outdoor camping in a plowed area at this facility.

Cost?
$18.00 per person, family members not camping will be responsible for their own reservations and meals.
Sign-up Deadline:
January 10, 2010 at midnight
Special Requirements:
Class III medical form must be on file with the Troop. This form must be signed by a physician. All adults must be registered with the troop and have completed Youth Protection Training.
What to Bring:
Pack accordingly for VERY cold weather conditions!!! Last years participants earned their Polar Bear award for camping in below zero temperatures!!! The Kiva is close to camp and can be used as a warming facility. Check the camping gear section of the website for information on cold weather gear.
