What to Bring:
The Cave of the Winds tour will include crawling and you will get muddy. Cool! For this activity each scout will need to bring a change of clothes (including boots/shoes) for after the tour. Tennis shoes are acceptable for the tour. The temperature of the caves is approximately 50 degrees year round and very damp. Scouts will also need a headlamp or flashlight for the tour. March in Colorado can still be very cold. Pack accordingly for cold weather conditions at the campground. Check the camping gear section of the website for information on cold weather gear.
