SUMMER CAMP ACTIVITY SCHEDULE PUBLISHED

Posted by thesees on February 29, 2012

SCOUTS,

If you signed up for summer camp, you should have received an email from Mr. See with an activity schedule attached to it.  If you did not get this email, please see Mr. See at the next Troop meeting to verify a good email address.  You can see the list of activities and complete your schedule by clicking here.  If you want to participate in climbing, mountain bike riding or zip lines, Mr. See must pre-register you by April 1st.  There are limited spaces for these activities, so they will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

There is one other change that was just released about medical forms.  The State of Colorado has passed a new law requiring an addendum to the national medical form to be completed.  You can see the entire fillable pdf version of the form by clicking here.  If you have already turned med forms in to Mrs. Palmer, please complete just the addendum page and turn that in as well.

IT’S RECHARTER TIME!

Posted by Deb Worby on January 26, 2012

Thank you for being a part of Troop 16 and supporting Boys Scouts of America.   One of the ways you show your support is by annually renewing your membership in the troop and BSA by paying your recharter fees for both scouts and registered adults.  The recharter amounts are: $27 for first scout, which includes a yearly subscription to Boys Life magazine, and $15 for each additional scout and each adult.  In addition, all adults must have their current YPT on file. Please make sure you are not dropped from the roster.  The deadline to have all fees turned in and adult training completed is January 31st.  Thank you in advance for making sure the troop’s recharter process goes smoothly.   If you have any questions, please contact Deb Worby.  Again, thank you and Happy 2012!

Josh Worby Earns Eagle Scout Rank

Posted by Jim Brainard on January 19, 2012

Troop 16 is pleased to announce the newest member of a life time achievement, Eagle Scout.
On January 16th, 2012 Josh completed his final Eagle Board of Review to become our troops next and first Eagle Scout for 2012.
A rank statistically received by very few who enter scouting. Through countless hours of hard work and great fun, Josh has earned this great honor.
Josh knows that the time he has put into scouting to receive this rank was not earned alone. It also goes to the credit of parents, adult volunteers and fellow scouts that supported Josh to this day.
Thank you all and congratulations Josh Worby.
