How to Join

Joining Troop 16 is easy!
No previous Scouting Experience Required!

You can,

• Visit a Troop Meeting, each Tuesday at 7:00pm in the main hall of Parker United Methodist Church.
• Call the Scoutmaster, Mr. Mark Abell, at (303) 699-9182 to discuss and get information.
• Email the Scoutmaster, Mr. Mark Abell
• Email the Troop Committee Chairman, Mrs. Deb Worby.

There is a nominal flat rate activity fee paid annually ($22.00). This fee covers BSA registration, a subscription to “Boys Life” Magazine and a Troop Fee to defray basic operating costs and supplies. There are occasional costs for outings and some equipment your Scout will need to obtain over the course of his career as a Scout.  While we believe a Scout should eventually get quite a compliment of gear so they feel confident in the outdoors, we are happy to arrange borrowed gear to get a boy started.

When you visit we can provide you with the appropriate forms and additional details.

However you do it, don’t delay. Before he grows up there are only a few precious years for a boy to learn how to be a leader.
