2019 Adventure Race – November Campout

2019 ADVENTURE RACE

the 2019 Adventure Race is upon us!

Calling all Knights and Men-at-Arms! The annual Troop 16 Adventure Race is on! The theme this year, back by popular demand, is Monty Python’s Quest for the Holy Grail. Join us in this life-sized race through over a dozen challenges scattered around Peaceful Valley as you seek enough power to get past the Black Knight, defeat the Killer Rabbit, and claim the Grail. You will enjoy the Royal Feast afterwards.

Contact your Camp Host, Dave Hilgartner, with questions about the campout, or your Gamemaster, Rob Beyerly, with questions about what the heck a Grail is.

Parents, please consider coming out for the weekend or just for the day on Saturday. We need lots of help to pull it off. Peaceful Valley is located at Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch, North Elbert Road, Elbert, CO.

Recharter 2020

REMINDER:  Please pay your dues on TroopTrack by Tuesday Nov 5 and turn in your new BSA background check at the troop meeting tomorrow.  

 

Greetings Troop!  It’s Rechartering time again! Thanks to all of you for your continued support for Troop 16. If recharter seems early this year, that’s because it is. Denver Area Council is now following a Jan 1-Dec 31 calendar.

  • Deadline to pay dues is Nov 5, 2019. 
  • Adult fee $36  Youth Fee $72 which includes Boys Life
  • If you want to waive Boys Life, post a message in TroopTrack and we will credit your Scout Account.
  • All adults must have YPT current through at least Feb 2020 and provide a new signed background check disclosure.
  • $100 popcorn packs are available for sale through Council.  Scouts earn $35 per pack to help pay for the dues increase. Contact Mrs. Arambula for details.
