Posted by Mark Williams on September 21, 2016

Troop 16 has put together a team to raise money to help stop diabetes. We are riding Saturday September 24, 2016 from Salisbury Park. Each person that is joining the team is making a commitment to raise at least $200. If you would like to join our team, or donate to one of the riders, please visit the Troop 16 TDC page. If you would like more information about the team, please contact Mr. Williams or Mrs. Lipman.

If you would like an opportunity to win a free bike jersey, please submit your ideas to Mr. Williams or Mrs. Lipman by August 1, 2016. The winning design will be Troop 16’s “official bike jersey.” The winner will be awarded with a jersey, with their design on it.

There are a couple of Eagle Scout projects going on this weekend, so Ian and Jared would like as many scouts as they can get to assist.  That being said, we are going to re-schedule the last 3 rides for the cycling merit badge as follows:

October 1st @ 8 am – 1st 25 mile ride

October 8th @ 8 am – 2nd 25 mile ride

October 29th @ 7 am – 50 mile ride

Please make sure you bring 2 water bottles and some kind of energy replacement item with you on these last rides.
